Robert Whitton is an underwater videographer, naturalist and application developer for the biologicial sciences.  He has been conducting fish biodiversity surveys throughout the pacific for the past 15 years, and specializes in the use of mixed gas closed circuit rebreathers to explore deeper than tradition conventional SCUBA diving surveys.  He is a Research Associate with the Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum in Honolulu, Hawaii, working in the Ichthyology department of Natural Sciences.  He is currently at sea on the NOAA ship Hi’ialakai at Johnston Atoll.
